Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is fast becoming the ultimate no-wax flooring material. Patina Acid Staining & Etching
Acid Staining is a unique process that creates a marble look. The pores of the concrete and imperfections add to the overall beauty of this process. The area is prepared by sanding and cleaning. Scores are etched to form patterns and stop the stain from bleeding into the adjacent pattern. Finally the whole area is cleaned, stained and finished with high or polished to a satain finish. Combine this with some polishing and or grinding of the concrete to smooth out the finish.References
